What makes a good URL slug?
It's short, lowercase, uses hyphens between words and describes the page, for example /qr-code-with-logo/. Skip dates and filler words so the URL still fits after you update the article.
Hyphens or underscores?
Hyphens. Google reads a hyphen as a space between words, while words joined by underscores may be read as one long word.
Should I transliterate Cyrillic URLs?
Usually, yes. Cyrillic URLs work, but once copied they turn into long codes like %D0%BA%D0%B8. Transliterated slugs are easier to share and read. Ukrainian follows the official passport rules here.
