How do guests connect with the code?
They open the camera on their iPhone or Android phone, point it at the code and tap the pop-up. The phone joins the network without anyone typing a password.
Is my Wi-Fi password safe here?
Yes. The code is generated in your browser and the password is not sent anywhere. Just keep in mind that anyone who can see the printed code can join your network.
What if I change my Wi-Fi password?
The old code will stop working, because it holds the old password. Make a new code with the new password and print it again.
Which security type should I choose?
Nearly every modern router uses WPA2 or WPA3, so leave it on WPA. Choose "No password" only for open networks.
