QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
How are the colors chosen?
The image is scaled down and its pixels are grouped with k-means clustering, the same method design apps use. Each swatch shows the average color of one group, ordered from the most common to the rarest.
Can I pick one exact color from the photo?
Yes. Click anywhere on the image to read the color at that point. It shows up below the photo with its HEX and RGB codes.
How do I use the palette on my website?
Copy the CSS variables into your stylesheet, then use them like color: var(--color-1). There is also a JSON version for design tokens and Tailwind configs.
